So, Kardinal and I were shooting the breeze today and I thought i came upon the idea of the century, my ticket out, the path to financial independence. and then, of course, a quick google search tells me i'm late to the game. but man, just think of it! your woman, or man, sizzling away in the sun...

A buddy of mine operates a bacon themed food truck about a five minute walk from my office.  So awesome, yet now I'm broke from eating out too much.

At a conference 2 weeks ago, the afternoon "snacks" were all bacon themed:

 - Chocolate covered bacon strips

 - Bacon topped cupcakes

 - Bacon jerky

 - Bacon wrapped dates

 

 

For the record, chocolate covered bacon worked dangerously well!

I'm sorry I didn't get a picture to share, but Sunday morning I cooked 2 lbs of bacon on a bbq while looking out at a lake with no other cabins on it.  The view improved an already stellar meat product.

So Russia has banned our bacon. This will be a hardship for many Canadian pork producers. It is time for all good Canadians to step up and help our farmers. We all need to eat more bacon. I know this is a terrible hardship but sometimes you just have to make these sacrifices for the good of the country. EAT UP!
