Dahlin sitting glumly in the middle of the bench. Stapled there nine-plus minutes and counting here in the third period. #Sabre

If the Sens can take a dumb penalty and Andy take a lot of shots on the PP, it would be more exiting.

5-0 Pittsburgh over the Leafers, does anyone think Babs on very thin ice?

 dab

 Lol

He's still under contract for 3 more season after this one. $50M over 8 years.  Not sure if his contract was an even 6.25/year or not.

If I'm not mistaken, the leafs would be on the hook if they fire him, but off the hook if he signs with another team?

Is that correct?  If that's the case it would have been smart for him to have a front end loaded deal.

Yeah, they can't technically "fire" him, just relieve him of his coaching duties.  And then they have to give permission for him to talk to another team.

Which makes for picturing an amusing situation... if a coach is relieved of his duties, doesn't get another job... are they allowed to make him come back to work in a year?
