For those in the Ottawa area, check out www.seedtosausage.ca/">Seed to Sausage, on Gladstone at Bronson. I've had strong recommendations on their bacon and hope to be trying some during this weekend's fishing trip, specifically the Smokey Chipotle Chili bacon.

I'm not about to jump in car and drive to blueteamtown, mostly because I'm afraid of the blueteamzombie apocalypse that their fandom's behaviour tends to suggest is already happening, so I'll stick with local and delicious. Besides, real doughnuts have holes in the middle. ;)

We need a new bacon thread, so here's the first bacon thought of the new forums: I had a maple bacon doughnut today, from SuzyQ (@suzyqdoughnuts) in Hintonburg. It was awesome, and I might go back for another one.
