I think that they may keep Derek Grant over Cowick. Cowick got a one year prove it contract last season, and he really didn't show much.

That said I agree that Wacey, Dizzy, and Blood will likely not be qualified.

These are the players that are currently in the organization that GMBM and AGM Randy Lee will have to decide on with respect to them being back next year in Ottawa, Binghamton or Elmira.  The ones with an asterisk are the ones I think will be back; I've not taken a really hard look at Bingo to see how everyone might fit in down there but there will be definitely be some players leaving.

I missed this one at the beginning of the month: the Senators signed 2012-7th pick Mikael Wikstrand to a 2 year contract.  He played last year in Mora (Allsvenskan) and Frolunda (SEL).

The Senators have announced they have signed 2011-6th round pick Max McCormick to a 2 year entry level contract.  He played for the Ohio State Buckeyes with Ryan Dzingel (2011-7th, the pick we got for Kovalev) who was signed in the spring and played a few games with Bingo.  McCormick is, apparently, a gritty-and-tough-to-play-against type of player.
