First dab of the game, 3:02 left in 1st.

Sens 1st on PK.

lol, just realized I didn't even have my card open.

I don’t even have one. Didn’t know the game was so early. Dumb scheduling on a back to back.

I hear I missed quite a game yesterday

Let's just say you'll probably be more disappointed with today's result than the rest of us as we have yesterday's result to blunt today's pain.

Is that sleeping dad in the Hyundai commercial a hockey player I should recognize?

It's -3C outside and the heater is working OT just to keep the apartment at 15.5C. 🥶

You need better insulation or at least plastic over the windows.

To be fair, I *could* make it a little warmer, but $$$. During the blizzard last year I think mid 60sF was the limit of system.

The insulation *is* crap, but it's also that I have no shared walls and tons of windows. I've looked into the plastic window thing but then my views are obscured. The reason it's so cold is because it's crystal clear today so I WANT to see the sun and blue skies.

Usually my feed troubles are a result of geo-blocking, but this morning it's the streaming site has either failed to acknowledge it's already the 19th or they're just sleeping through the AM game.

 Hey streaming site, PUCK DROP!

Annnnnnnnd, the game is geoblocked. And they only have Home and French feeds. confuse

For reference...  "La rondelle" is the puck, not a player with a name like Lafontaine.

This was a legit question from my nephew many years ago when we were watching a Montreal game in French.  "Who's this Larondelle guy? He seems to be all over the ice."  biggrin

That would seem like a literal translation of "the round thing".

Back in the day, René Lecavalier, used to do the french play by play of the Montreal games. He could make faceoffs sound exciting.

 Play resumed from commercial break.

Clock at 11:55

Thank you sir; I'm a full ~35 seconds behind.

So I will be completely unreliable for in-the-moment things like breakaways and posts.
