The rain itself isn't actually that bad. But it's coming in sideways. And it's been just bone chilling cold for the last ~36 hours. Some snow just outside of town too.

Got a video from bbc Alex yesterday. In was snowing in Manchester. 

 For the non-local girl, I'm assuming that's significant for mid Nov?

Do you guys get affected by El Nino/La Nina? La Nina is what's doing a lot of our stuff right now. A little colder than average, a little more rain than average, and expected to be a little more snow that average.

 They rarely get snow there.

Sister in law's had family visit from the Philippines. 

One of them said "I never experienced cold rain before. It never dawned on me that it could be a thing."
