can anyone explain to me why teams do the drop back pass on the PP when the other team knows they are going to do it and then just defend it?

Honestly, it looked like a normal kick out from the butterfly position. It's the butterfly position IN GENERAL that the human body wasn't designed for.

 

In hindsight, I realize my comment could be construed that something bent in a wholly unnatural direction. No the case here. Apologies!!
