I feel like there's a general precedent, for better or worse, that pushing someone ELSE into your own goalie is often overlooked.

{gasp}

breakaway dab

Things are happening!

and now they are challenging the no-goal call

Conga line goal isn't allowed.

So goal waved off, and went to review to confirm it.

This feels like a double, double negative statement that needs a diagram to understand.

RE: Boosters

Are you guys just age + time or other factors required?

We're technically "other factors" but apparently if you read the fine print, something like 90% qualify for those other factors.

Right now, it's certain high-risk conditions, plus as of today:

  • Individuals 70 years of age and over (born in 1951 or earlier)
  • Health care workers and designated essential caregivers in congregate settings (including long-term care home and retirement home staff and designated caregivers). These individuals should consult their employers for vaccination options.
  • Individuals who received a complete series of a viral vector vaccine (two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine or one dose of the Janssen vaccine)
  • First Nation, Inuit and Métis adults and their non-Indigenous household members.
  • Residents of high-risk congregate settings including long-term care homes, higher-risk licensed retirement homes and First Nations elder care lodges

All require 6 months since your last dose

So I just realized that as of today I'm eligible to book a 3rd dose of vaccine since I had 2 of AZ before.

I'm double Moderna, so have to wait until my age group comes up. I did get my flu shot last week.

I can book today, but not actually get it until next month until 6 months have passed.  It looks like that's the rule even when your age group comes up

Got my 2nd dose Jun 19th, so I guess I could get mine towards the end of the year or January.

 yeah, it interrupts the day.

Right?  Weekend afternoons are when I usually manage to actually be productive.  By the time the game is over I'm into 'time to relax' mode

and weekends is when you sleep in, take your time to get up, have breakfast...  Especially if you had a hectic week.

Got myself a weighted blanket.  It's sooo comfortable, very easy to just stay in bed after you wake up dozing on and off for an hour. "this is where I live now."

How much extra heat does the weighted blanket add? I've been thinking about it but, unless I end up moving north, I'm worried about getting too damn hot.

Same - I've been looking at the Hush cooling blanket as an option

It's ok, I too like to sleep cool, but haven't used it in the summer yet. The one I got came with two covers, one "summer" and one "winter".  I'm using the summer one and another blanket I can use as needed.
