I just found the word I've been looking for all week..."poppy". I knew it was something other than "red flower" but that synapse was just not firing.

Yeah, square was to start the car and unlock doors.  Round for truck and glove compartment.

Remote truck release used to be in the glove compartment back in the day on the fancy cars.
