Interesting dynamic at play as Thornton and Spezza are both right in there helping the medical staff keep him calm, and convincing him to stay down and let them treat him.

I don't get queasy *too* easily, but watching his eyes roll back made my tummy a little unhappy.

What happened to the standard 15 minutes of chit chat??

Well it has been since 1979 since they played in the playoffs. I guess they didn't want to wait any longer.

Speaking of work calls... I had another talk today with the owner of the company I applied to. Wanted to let me know that he is 100% interested, and is going to be preparing an offer, but that will probably take about a week.

He's hoping for a start date towards the end of June.

But the end of June is soooo faaaaarrrr awa....never mind.

 lol.  Thanks!

Now just to hope the offer is something I can be happy to accept.  I told him I need something in hand relatively soon since I want to take some time off between jobs, but I can totally wait a week for this to happen.

Have you guys talked numbers so you at least know you're in the same neighborhood? Or no numbers yet?

Yeah, I told him what range I'm looking for in the first interview, so he knows.  But you still just never know.

Oh yeah, nothing stops him from pulling a, "Oh, well we can't actually make that work." But at least something's been put on the table. Yay for Kat and Homer!
