SoCal has been crazy high for years, I don't know if it's really much more "up" than usual, we've been that kid in high school who blows the curve for the class for a while now. Rental prices haven't gone up much. My corporate-managed rent only went up 2.5% this year, that's the other side of crazy.

 ottawa is skyrocketing, as well. 

 It's crazy.  I was debating selling this place but then I'm not sure if I can afford to buy anything else!
