That's a haul for Blake Coleman. It should also drive up the market for JGP, as the team seems dead set on trading him.

To TB for prospect Nolan Foote (27th overall in 2019) and a first-round draft pick (Vancouvers)

Coleman almost same stats as JGP and a 1.8M cap hit next year, NJ made TB pay a lot. JGP is an expiring so not as valuable

JGP is much better on faceoffs and can play a shutdown role against a teams top player, so better overall game?

Granted I don't know much about Coleman

Also JGP is a center vs Coleman who is a winger, so a more valuable position.  And with a playoff pedigree.  That's a lot of value.

He still should be re-signed and Tierney traded, but I think that ship has sailed.

Or pass on the shiny things and take the tarnished stuff at 2:58pm

 Also a distinct possibility

 good call.  Definitely dumb.

I don't have that square.  Was still dumb though, complete forward dive with a 1/2 twist

Maybe he's practicing for the Olympics.  Knows the NHL won't let them go, so he's trying out for figure skating?

Tkachuk and Gallagher in a pairs team. Real life Blades of Glory.

Or he's goes more traditional and goes "The Cutting Edge" route.  "Toe Pick!".

Who would be his partner?
