Sabourin was on the ice for 11 minutes and wasn't moving. I only realized how long it was when I switched to another game during the intermission and they were already in the 2nd period.
What happenEd to him?
He went to hit Backes, they knocked head, he was out cold and fell face first on the ice.
Backes also left the ice, looked like he was about to puke. not sure if concussed or just freaked out by the hit.

oh, it was scary as hell.... basically he and Backes collided, their heads smacked together, and Sabourin was knocked out, landed face-first on the ice. Taken out on a stretcher after the 11 minutes lying on the ice.

Don't know if you guys were watching the intermission, but they said Sabourin was on the ice for 11 minutes after the collision. That's crazy. I know it seemed like a long time, but I didn't realize it was THAT long
