 I'm dreading the very real possibility of Kenney winning this election.  Under Notley, this province has almost moved into the 21st century.  He's already campaigning on exactly what DoFo is doing... rolling back all of the changes the previous government put in

Nope, there's been some illegal shops since it became legal in Canada. Seems to be some provincial things tied to it for zoning and such.  

But they allow a bunch of those payday loan places.  Low income parts of town have a bunch of them.

 Just as bad here.  Legal for 2 years, but the Conservative side of the government keeps putting up roadblock after roadblock for commercial sale.
