It’s the whole team but especially him who is struggling. He’s trying to fit in, it’s taking time and his d zone coverage has been poor.
I saw highlight thing on the TSN a couple of days ago and some guy got the puck and just out skated him all the way down the ice for a goal. The old EK would never have been left behind like that.
Except that there was always rumour about his lack of interest in working out and staying in shape in the off season, and his conditioning to start every season was suspect.

That’s cuz the “fans” that were so against him probably never saw him play more than a game or 2 and based all their bitching on stats.
lol, that’s so true. I was doubting they should take him even though he’s who I wanted because of all the “stats” talk. Craig Button stayed extremely high on him and I trusted him
