I got a call from "CRA" on my work cell last week about a problem with my taxes. Was asked to call a number back and if I didn't an arrest warrant would be issued in my name. Message was even in a text to speech computer voice. LOL.
Oh well, there goes my security clearance.
I got one of those on my home phone a few weeks ago. Good times!
Here in America the same thing goes on, go figure?!?!

Hey Homer, wanna hear a story that's going to make you do a literal facepalm?
tj secretly likes Duchene and he's been trolling us?
lol! I'm going to guess not.
So, I work with a mixed team of developers and business analysts. Today, our manager got a call from one of our business analysts telling him that he has a problem.... yesterday he got a call from Dell tech support, saying there was a problem with his laptop, and they needed access to fix it.
Yep, I'm sure you've guessed it by now... dumbass goes ahead and gives them access. And it gets better! He gave them access to his personal laptop. Ok, not so bad you think, right? But then they tell him that there is probably the same problem on any other computers that have been on his home networks. So what does he do? Boots up his work laptop, and gives them access to it to! Brilliant!
He actually sat there and watched them take copies of EVERY SINGLE FILE on both his personal and work laptops, and then delete them. Didn't think anything at all was wrong... until they asked him for a $500 gift card to get his files back.
yeah, we had to wipe and re-image your laptop in case something was left behind.
We installed a fool proof OS on it..
lol. I seriously never would have thought that someone who WORKS in IT would ever get caught by one of these. like ever.
