Thompson who is at best a borderline 4th liner with another year on his contract and a modified no trade and Oduya a 7th or 8th Defenseman with no future with your team. Unless this is to showcase moving one or both out the heck from Pan's team this is beyond useless and at best stupid.
And with seattle joining soon, you will be able to enjoy 23 more players of their quality, or less. Send your thanks to g. Buttman, c/o nhl.
I know, Seattle I will bet a billion bucks will not anywhere near duplicate Vegas. Seattle doesn’t get many nice things. NBA Title 1979, Washington Huskies 1991 and Seahawks 2013 and that’s it for Champs.

Package I would find acceptable for Erik Karlsson: A first-round pick. A second-round pick. Your best prospect. Your second-best prospect. Your best roster player. Your owner. Your arena, but in my city. You make it so Ottawa won the Stanley Cup in 2007. A universal basic income.
Any thoughts? and what is a universal basic income
It's one of those socialist ideas you 'Muricans don't believe in.
Someone on another site was asked what he would offer EK if he was the Sens GM. He answered that if he doesn't pick up his game soon, he might offer him a PTO.
That person is quite simply not smart
I would not offer EK a big long term deal until he is checked out by a number of the best doctors available. Scary thought but he may never be the player he was. I certainly hope that's not the case.
Your logic is smart.
It's “”a tricky situation.
Franchise player, going into the final year of a "steal of a contract" and pending UFA so he can decide to test the market if he wants to. He's only 27, but coming off an injury that you don't know if he'll ever be the same.
His performance in the playoffs last year was off the charts while playing on a fractured foot. What has changed this year?
Is is the injury not healing like it should? The loss of Methot and he hasn't gelled with Oduya? The coach? Would a new coach bring life back into his game? Will Duchene ever score a GWG?
