Stahlberg going back to Europe, seems he couldn't come to terms with Sens.
The only thing about this is why did Sens sign Thompson and Burrows to multi-year contracts and let this guy go who I feel is a better player? In the large scheme of things letting Stahlberg go isn't a huge deal except taken in context with Burrows and Thompson.
So, stahlberg and wingels gone. They cost us a 7th, a 3rd and 2 prospects in Robinson and stortini. But, we almost made it to the finals. Worth it, I'd say, not that wingels helped much but stahlberg did.

According to RSU site, Ottawa is the close to signing drew stafford. All I know is that he played for Boston. What type of player is he? What role would he play?
He just scored 2 unforgettable goals vs. the Sens in the series with the Bruins. or not. He also played against the Sens in the 07 Finals team run he was with Buffalo as a rookie then.
He had 8G and 13A in 58 games with Jets and Bruins last season. He's a RW whose 31 and sliding quickly toward retirement.

Dorion says Chabot definitely ready to play in NHL.
I hope so, but I wonder if Mr. Dorion became slightly more convinced of that after Methot left? Or, maybe that's why he let Meth go?
Ready to play in the NHL and ready to replace a guy like Meth are 2 different things....
They got on D: Karlsson, Wideman, Harpur, Phanuef, Claesson, Ceci, Boro and Chabot. Which one plays with Karlsson? There's 8 along with Englund whose probably not ready. I agree with you Kat on that
