An embellishment call against the team playing the Senators?    I almost believe in late presents from Santa.

Well to be fair... it would be pretty impossible to NOT call that one.

Senators lead in shots 22-16.   What's going on?  Oh, Schneider is pulling 'an Andy'.

ZSmith made the smart play there, to get it to a scorer (Turris).   Now, if they could just get it past Schneider, that'd be great.

15 games in December with a holiday break?  that's a lot.  In January they play 12 games (all-star break at the end), 13 in Feb and 15 again in March.

Not a bad PP, but Schneider isn't giving out much in the way in rebounds for garbage goal opportunities.

i know it accomplished nothing, but Neil and Max were the only ones that showed any life in that period. If the better players brought that intensity....

I'm sure it will be a perfectly calm game.  blankstare

It's getting annoying too that people are talking like him missing the Winter Classic is somehow making this a bigger punishment.

It's like in the playoffs, suspensions are 1/2 of what they are in the regular season, because obviously head shots hurt only half as much in the playoffs.

the NHL is like that awful, irrational girl/boyfriend that you know you should dump but you don't cuz you don't have another option ready.

that was a penalty, no doubt. Chris knows better. Trying too hard to wake up the team.
