Wow what a terrible first penalty call. So consistent with the NHL elite standards after all.

these Refs have let everything go tonite, there was a play in the first where a Shark was holding and twisting a Senator and of course nothing called.

how many players skated by that broken stick behind the Sens net with the puck without touching it, yet how many player "accidentally" bump into the goalie in his crease and claim that there was no way they could avoid him

I'm just glad that no one on Ottawa would do something that dastardly to the Goalie

That's pretty cheap.  Hoffman get hit in the leg with the puck and Dillon follows it up with a few slashes to the legs.

Don't mess with the Hoff!!

Oh man, me too. We're all kind of cautiously optimistic. No one wants to over commit just to be disappointed. Another reason why the Sens must win tonight!

It sucks though that tonight teams like LA and Minnesota are playing crappy teams (New Jersey/Toronto) lol.

SD, how's the playoff fever in Winnipeg with their play in the past week?  Glad they beat the Caps the other night

Couturier was insane in his rookie season... hasn't done much since... and he gets to play with Voruchek and Giroux.

Comparing the games played, looks like ZBAD has the upper hand

if Thornton gets 4 goals tonight, will shark fans throw special sauce?

especially if the 4 goals were "unassisted"

Huh, I must have been the lone voice of reason on that then. I remember being thrilled when they passed on Couturier and took Zibby instead. He needed to be sent down to work on his attitude after thinking he was guaranteed a roster spot after being gifted one due to injuries previously.

after that rookie year Courterier (spelling not sure) had and the Flyers went to the Finals I was really leery about ZBad and passing on the Flyer.  The Flyer at one time was the overall rated #1 prospect at one time too.  It's now working out for the Sens

Puempel with the high ankle sprain, I thought he hurt himself blocking a shot v. Toronto. Thought it was going to be a broken foot
