It's that thing where they get over-confident in the lead, and Andy's ability to keep bailing them out... so they stop skating. So frustrating.

Good gravy --- what happened to the Senators from the first two periods.    3 goals on 12 shots, but not Anderson's fault as they are deflections of Sens players or totally screened.   Skaters have to work.

Alfie got a smattering of polite applause this evening.   Well, no.   It was a bit more than that.

 

You can see he's not used to have to 'play to the camera' during sustained applause/chanting, as he's been on the ice or the bench and 'busy'.

JGP leads all Senators with 7 SOG so far tonight. Hoffman next with 5. Ceci, Gryba, Legwand, Wiercioch only Sens without one tonight.

 

Shots are 10-2 so far this period, and Calgary is the highest scoring team in the league in the 3rd period.   Ugh.

 

....uh, make that 10-4.
