Grrrr......

Great puck movement AROUND THE PERIMETER of the PP.   The defenders hardly have to move.

.....and as I type that, Chiasson gets the puck out to Turris on the point and Ryan tips the shot behind Louongo.

Thornton went right after Cowen and should get an instigator for that.   Cowen did  pretty well against a heavyweight like that.

refs didn't see that as instigating.  the fact that the Panthers already had a penalty called against them wouldn't have influenced the refs decision on that now would it?

In realtime, it looked to me like borderline but not really late, and contact was to chest and head not just head (because head was down).    Penalty is for interference, not contact to the head.

He's really just lucky that he wasn't moving at full speed.  It was borderline for sure, and could have been a lot worse.  He needs to be physical, not reckless.

Not even Faux News / Faux Sports wouldn't want him.   That says something, doesn't it?

Ahead of Sir John A, Alexander Graham Bell and The Great One, no less.    It boggles the mind.

Yeah, definitely not someone I want representing how people think of our country.

He's completely illogical. Going on a rant about how they need goons and fighting back, right before a memorial segment for a player whose death was likely caused by post-concussion syndrome.

So Cherry saying that superstars should not fight.

I remember him before praising Iginla for fighting when he was in Calgary saying something like "now there's a leader who's not afraid to take matters in his own hands"

But it's not like ever contradicted himself before and praise himself for being right on every occasion.
