When there's less than a cm of snow on your driveway, and your driveway is right under your neighbour's window... yeah, shovelling at that time is totally offside. Shovelling isn't exactly quiet.

Why would someone bother shoveling?
That is a damn good question. Today is the coldest day we've had in ages, and we hardly have any snow left. And it was sunny, so what fell last night mostly melted anyway.

Shovelling at 0700h shouldn't be too bad, but using a snowblower that early on a Saturday, unless it's something urgent, is offside. One wouldn't fire up a lawnmower at that time, and I use that as my measuring stick.
