I have to confess that if they traded MacArthur, I would not be to upset. He puts in a good effort just about every game but is very hot and cold when it comes to scoring. And he is one of the guys they are relying on to score. I would prefer that they start giving some of the younger guys more first and second line time. See what they can do.
i'd move macarthur down for him, for a game or two. Just explain it to him that its temporary, so they can get a look at the kid. Grizz is a pro, he'd understand, i'm sure.

I find it frustrating that scoring wingers who are called up from Bingo get put on the 4th line and people still expect them to be able to score "because they're a scorer". Unfortunately, the fourth line is the only spot for a LW as he's not going to displace 9MM (hot), Hoffman (hot) or MacArthur (struggling, but established NHL LW).
Methot signed to an extension. Anderson not on the ice. Neil is going to be out likely 3-4 weeks after surgery on a fractured thumb. Lines at the morning skate:
Michalek - Turris - Stone Hoffman - Ziba - Ryan MacArthur - Lazar - Chiasson Prince - Legwand - Condra
