I recently went to a place where they tried make a bacon candy type thing. They used a brown sugar glaze. Not sure how I feel about this since it took away from the bacon taste. Thoughts?

Properly made bacon candy is divine.   But I'm a huge fan of the sweet/salty combo, and love anything maple bacon as well.
