I miss a chip truck that used to be in downtown, as they served bacon on a bun that was about 6 strips of bacon with lettuce and mayo, on a Kaiser. Add a medium fries and it was a pretty good lunch. It even helped calm me down on a bad day, although the slowing of my heartbeat might have meant something else.

Cheddar-stuffed perogies cooked in bacon fat. I think they could have used some bacon with them, but they are good.

Got home and Kardinal had my house smelling like maple bacon. That's a Canadian Welcome home if ever there was.

bacon-covered turkey is the best!

The only bacon I got in my christmas dinner this year was with the pan-roasted brussels sprouts. Sooooo yummy.

The turkey is in the oven, and as usual it is covered with bacon. This keeps it moist and the drippings make extra fine gravy. Remove bacon about an hour before serving to allow the bird to brown. Bacon can the be crumbled and added to veggies or simply eaten as a snack.
