Not sure if you haven't seen or heard of this, but acceptance is the biggest thing to lead to better things.

Or, one of these players has a LGBTQ+ kid, actually sees the light and becomes accepting, only to have someone else tell them their kid isn't welcome. 

As Pan so eloquently put it, wearing the jersey doesn't mean you need to take a face of dicks.

 I figure the guys outing themselves as bigots were already known as such inside the locker room. It's practically impossible there's *not* a closeted player on NHL ice somewhere tonight. When these guys come out with their religious opposition you know that *other* guy is saying, "Yeah, no surprise there."
