As usual I waited until almost the last moment to do my Christmas shopping. With the weather forecast for the next couple of days, decided it was time to get started. I left the house at 6:00 tonight, went to 3 different stores, and was home before 7:00. The stores were almost empty. Sometimes it pays to be a procrastinator.
So you're doing a Costo run on Saturday?
I'm done with stores until the new year. Except maybe the grocery store.
Someone remind me why staying up late last night because I only had one more day of work until vacation seemed like a good idea?
You mean you didn't take a lunch time nap? That's one of the best things of working from home. Sometimes I take a late lunch while working after taking mid-day nap.
I stupidly thought that a short lunch and finishing my day earlier to start vacation sounded like a good idea.
Now that I'm independent and billing by the hour, it's a little tougher.
