I like the Olympics for sports I don't normally get to watch.

Women's Soccer because Canadian women can field a good team.

Women's Rugby was intense in 2016 with Canada getting the Bronze.

Swimming, Gymnastics, some Track & Field, plus whatever sport Canada is expected to do well.

Love seeing athletes break out like Penny Oleksiak did in swimming. Canadian women tend to kick ass at the Olympics.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big Olympics fan.  I may have been known to book time off work in order to watch in the past....

I didn't even know until just before this game.  Totally forgot that was today.  So....

 I'm ~45s old since I found out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

NSH not leaving any empty seats between groups...um, okay.

I feel like each game has more people in the stands. We're going to be at full capacity by the end of R1.

So last night I was so distracted by everything going on that I forgot to put my laundry in the dryer. Realized it when I went to go to bed and had no clean pj's.

Lol, I hate that that's the most effective reminder.

Simone Biles is 24? For some reason I thought she was older and last Olympics would be her last.

Gymnasts start VERY young.  She's getting pretty old in gymnast terms.

Oksana Chusovitina is a freak of nature.

Amazing that she's competed in very different eras of gymnastics.  the difference and difficulty is night and day.

Maintaining that kind of flexibility is pretty unbelievable.

Well, in women's gymnastics 24 *is* AARP eligible.

bah. resetting my tv receiver again. This happens WAY more when I'm watching hockey than anything else for some reason

Can you switch to a browser while it resets?

I can, yeah.  It only takes a minute to reset, but I don't know what it is about the sports channels that it loses it's mind so much.
