Honestly, the name went in one ear and out the other, I just heard them making a big deal. Which leads me to Why TF do you make a big deal about an assist if dude has 4 goals?

 If it was 1st NHL point sure, but 1st assist when he already had goals.. meh.

Yeah, I guess my clue should have been they were saying first assist and *not* first point. If your first assist is your first point, they're making a big deal about the point, not the assist.
