Smelling salts are used to arouse consciousness because the release of ammonia (NH3) gas that accompanies their use irritates the membranes of the nose and lungs, and thereby triggers an inhalation reflex.

There are no known side effects with long-term or short-term use of smelling salts. However, a person should avoid overusing smelling salts or holding the smelling salt too close to the nose. Concentrated exposure can damage the nasal membranes.

So, um, yeah, probably not a fantastic idea to get an ammonia cloud going on inside your visor.

before the start of every period and who knows how many times during a game. Plus add the sudafed they pop like candy.

Since Cathy has Kardinal's, I can take Russell's.

Do you want us to check yours too?

If you don't mind, that would be appreciated. Tks.

I'll take yours, but I don't have any pie.

Never having sniffed the stuff I can't be sure but I assumed that stuff would make your eyes water to the point of draining all fluid from your body.

First time I ever saw a player wave a smelling salts under the visor close the eyes, then under the nose.

That has to have long term effects right?

It SEEMS like it should burn like hell....

Lol, the Sens set up better, and faster, for a SH opportunity than they do for a PP opportunity.

Oh, forgot to mention, I grabbed Kardinal's card. Though the Cardinal-Kardinal synergy did diddly squat last game.

I never saw/heard anything. I could kinda understand the Canadian back-to-back-to-back (pre Covid-postponement, that is). But the ANA/MIN game makes even less sense.
