Is it a rematch of Canada 🇨🇦 v Russia 🇷🇺
Somehow I don’t see 6-0 again

Refs messed up with that missed call.  Canada should have gotten a penalty (high stick that drew blood), but the Finn gets a 10 minute misconduct.

Can't blame the coach for being pissed.

Yeah, that was a weird situation

On top of that, player getting to 10 minutes had to go to the dressing room to get stitched up and another player had to serve the 10 minute penalty. It's not a man advantage penalty, and they lose two players. That's really messed up.

I know the IIHF has some weird rules, but that feels like a complete mess-up by the refs

Especially when the 10 minutes will carry over into the 2nd period. Make no sense at all to have need another player in the box.

In the NHL, they just send the player to the dressing room if lest than 10 minutes left in the period. I think the refs messed up.

Looks like Finland has settled down. They got a couple scoring chances, but Hofer with some great saves.

Don't want this to be a blowout, that's never good for the next game.
