Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion told TSN 1200 Friday that goaltender will be out for a while and probably will miss the remainder of the season.

Remember that Wolanin guy?

Sens need to play him in 19 of the last 28 games in order to retain his RFA rights. Otherwise he becomes a UFA.

If I was him, I’d be faking an injury or conspiring to put myself into COVID protocol to get a fresh start.

Canes place Galchenyuk on waivers. Sens could claim him back and use him to trade for someone else.

Best part about Dzingel coming back? A player we will actually recognize being on the ice!

2nd best.... being able to say Dzin-goal again.

He'll be wearing #10 with his #18 now belonging to Stutzle

Dzingel has only 14G in 96GP since he left, but he’s reasonably reliable and has speed so he’ll be an upgrade on the other two.

here's a good listen. Sens nation podcast with Steve Warne, guest is Brent Wallace. Good discussion near the end about sens D and why Boro was let go.

I have no idea what dzingle is anymore. does he still score? Hope so, but you have to wonder why the canes would want those two pieces of deadwood.

Paquette and Galchenyuk for Ryan Dzingel. I’m happy with it as it opens a spot for someone else.
