I’m ok with that. Look to the lengths he is going to for the Phoenix fans. It’s absurd, but they’ve had almost an extra decade of hockey because of him.
Apparently Brassard has been or about to be traded.
In the first domino to fall before the NHL trade deadline, the Ottawa Senators sent Brassard to the Penguins Friday afternoon. It’s believed the club got a first-round pick in 2018, defenceman Ian Cole and goalie prospect Filip Gustavsson.
Its too bad the Sens didn’t insist on that Goalie who came up earlier this year for the Pens and played well for them.

actually, after watching Roy on the olympic team, he sure looks like he could still play on our 4th line and do a hell of a lot better than any of the other guys we had there.
Interesting thing happening on the radio today. TSN 1200 let callers call in today and trash melnyk for 3 hours. That's pretty unprecedented. They have always been very careful about that kind of thing, considering they depend on the Sens for their survival. But they are certainly reacting to the mood of the fans, which is great.
I wonder if there may be a riff between them and melnyk. He almost never gives them interviews, when he does speak, he goes on T.O. radio. Maybe they've had enough of him, too?
Good!! That guy needs some humility. As I’ve said for a man whose lucky to be alive he’s sure hasn’t acted like it at least publicly

I found something worse than Kypreos being right, Craig Button who I like on Toronto radio saying Leafs have what it takes to make the trade for Karlsson!?!?
Would anyone bother going to a LaffsvSens game if that happened?
McKenzie's article is fantastic and well worth your time. One thing I'd add -- there is a strong belief around the league that the Karlsson/Ottawa relationship is beyond repair. Suitors are acutely aware of this.
