is there a mercy rule?

almost should be, 3rd period is pretty much pointless and won't be entertaining

Also, if you take them skating on the canal, you know it's a rule that you have to go for Beavertails, right?

Of course, that's why I want to go when it's warmer.  Even you wouldn't want to go have Beavertails in -30 weather.

A nice -8 to -10 with no wind would be good.

Not now I wouldn't.  A year ago my answer might have been different!

Are you a classic cinnamon and sugar Beavertail kind of person or do you go for one of the other kinds?

I love the classic.  But lately I'm really loving the Avalanche.  Cream  cheese, chocolate sauce, and skor bits.  mmmmmm

It's supposed to be a bit better on Sunday, if you are not on call then. Snowing.... but a bit warmer.

The canal opened today (well 5km of it).  Saw some people skating on my way home.

Niece and nephew want to go skating on it.  Going to wait until it gets warmer and I'm on call next week so may have to wait a bit.

Kat, when you moved back to Ontario, you forgot to bring the Chinooks with you.

I could REALLY go for a Chinook right about now!

My sister, niece and nephew are in town from Abbotsford.  They're not used to this weather.

ooooh... that would be tough.  I make fun of my co-workers in BC all the time
