Kat, Gretzky thinks Edmonton should give McDavid the "C" right away. what do you think?
I'm never a fan of giving a young player the C just because he's a good player.
McDavid is good, he's dynamic, he's fun to watch, and you can see that he has leadership abilities... but he's too young. He has an awful lot to learn still about playing at this level, and I would rather see them reward one of the other character guys on the team for a couple of years yet.
I agree. Didn't agree with Karlsson getting the C so early. Let them concentrate on developing their game.
Exactly - no matter how skilled you are that C is something you should have to earn.
