Doughty - reasonably good season on a team that didn't make the playoffs.
Subban - good season on a team that did make the playoffs and contended for division title
Karlsson - bad start to the season, brilliant latter 2/3 of the season, team squeaks into the playoffs after a record-setting run

I think EK has a good chance on this one. I think Stone will be a harder win, but achievable. These two would be both the icing and the sprinkles on the cake this season was.

Not only did Stone get nominated for the Calder, but Karlsson got nominated for the Norris.  He's up against Subban and Doughty
