Apparently, the NHL is now contacting players about being named to the ASG before announcing them, to prevent the "illness / injury" bug from biting right before the event. Perhaps EK and PK didn't want to go again this year, but wanted a few days off instead?
so, no ek65 or pk subban at allstar game. maybe they aren't having great years but is there a better place to have those 2 guys if you are showcasing talent?
