He is filing for bankruptcy with over $26M in liabilities, and has made about $34M so far in his career. That is a lot of overspending.....must have been the helicopter rides from BUF to Raptor games.

True story: I met his sister Vicki, who was Wayne's GF at the time, in Edmonton when I was 15-ish. She was singing in a band when I was out there for a school band competition.

 You live in a town with a team with absolutely no money so you're forgiven for not realizing there are other teams out there that will pay money for good players to try and win.  You're team is more concerned w getting to a salary floor with contracts that have less money owed to the players than what the salary cap hit is. #MelnykOut

 I felt bad that the guy who crosschecked him to the face only got one game for putting another teams top player out of the game in a broad sense. But since it was Gallagher I got over that feeling
