Lou Lamoriello wants to get rid of the loser point, which his team is leading the league with 14 to date in 64 games. That's one loser point every 4.5 games.
Hate to say it, but I agree with him. Or at least make all games worth 3 points. 3 points for a regulation win, 2 for an OT/SO win and the leaf point for losing in OT/SO
Pees me off that Milan Michalek is stuck playing in the minors because the lafs want to dump salary. Should be some of rule that allows a veteran player to become a free agent if the team won't play him. Surprised the union allows this.

remember how upset some people were about losing Spezza?
How's that working out for Dallas?
Of all the guys Ottawa has traded away besides the obvious in Hossa who really has come back to bite them? Heatley had 2 back to back seasons so Ottawa did get equal value for awhile. Chara was a UFA, but really can't think of anyone who has been terrific once left the Senators.
The bearded Eaves is now a bearded Duck for a 2nd rounder
a first, if the ducks make the 3rd round. a first! for eaves!
this is why i don't want the sens making any of these deals. the prices are insane. like glenn sather insane.
What?? you don't think the Sens first rounder from this draft and Ceci and White both also first rounders are worth a guy who is putting up Stone and Hoffman numbers?? Duchene is obviously a good player but he sure isn't worth 3 first round picks.
All the teams in Sens Division better start watching the Miami Panthers, they just swept California and are getting healthy. Hadn't won in LA since 02 Spezza's rookie year
