Vancouver interviewed Pierre Dorion for their vacant GM position, Aquilini family who own the Canucks are just as self aware and clueless as the guy who previously employed that guy.
Dorion was just a scout who was in way over his head as a GM, thanks to the Senators' tendency to always hire the cheapest guy possible.
good point!! It now seems they have moved on from him and I think they scared the fans and people that cover the team so much that no matter who they pick now it will be a relief. It will be at least the clueless owners didn’t hire Dorion

I watched Game 1 of Hurricanes vs. Flyers this morning and it made me feel a little better about the series with the Sens. Philadelphia had trouble getting any sustained pressure as well. It was as if they were skating through tar.
Ah, that age-old dilemma, do you want the team that swept you to go all the way (because then your loss doesn't seem quite as bad) or want them to fail, epically, (because...schadenfreude 😈).
