I did not hear until the end of the game that Lemieux was Freddie's agent. 😬

now I’m seeing from Chris Johnston podcast that if swept Jared Bednard may get axed. That makes sense when Makar and McKinnon are obviously injured and again they are two of the top 5 players in the league this is what happens when superstars get hurt the team they play for usually loses, what other coach is going to wave magic ju ju beans over them to make their injuries go away?

good thing we have a pool of old white guys to recycle from 🙄

but, yeah. should you rely on 2/18 to carry a team? no. does it happen all the time? yes.

Again, not to beat a dead duck, but 2007 ANA...4 lines with almost equal TOI (and 2 dmen playing 30 minutes each)

still too soon!

it’s been 19 seasons now and still hurts

 Apparent suicide.

Damn that is super sad, no idea that was the reason.

I’m guessing all the scouts and front offices that thought Stankoven was too small are hopefully rethinking that size always matters in the NHL

This is a pub very close to the CTC.

that’s awesome, Carolina up 3-1 and proving that Ottawa never had a chance once they drew this bunch

Refs certainly suck, they ignore a trip by Canes and then a clear as hell too many snes on the ice by Montreal. It’s ridiculous that these leagues NBA and NFL do it to change the rules in the playoffs but don’t tell anyone. HA HA HA Canes end it right after Habs think they got by w one.

I'm kinda torn on the too many men dispute. There's "we can't ****ing count" and then there's "funky bounce to where the puck was not supposed to be". That said, I don't know if I want the refs making even more "intent" decisions that they do now.

Catch-22 😐

Go figure when 2 of the top 5 players in the league are hobbled on the ice w injuries your club suxks, probably going to be swept now w Makar and McKinnon both really injured. Unless they tie it here in the dying seconds. They didn’t and I’m shocked Vegas is going to the Finals after how poor they were to end the reg.season

Freddie Andersen looked more like the guy I remember . I expected Hurricanes to be rusty but not that bad. I expect to see a much better Hurricanes team next game.

Literally said the same thing to a friend, "This is the Freddie I remember." Not to knock the guy, when he's on he's on. I was just surprised in R1/2 to see him *that* on.
