Ducks (Gudas) took out Matthews for the rest of the season.. I'm unsure how to feel about this.
5 games for Gudas
I haven't bothered to check the replay and I'm only going off of ESPN notification timing, but wonder how much of that is punishing the outcome vs the act.
Gudas sets out to hurt people IMO, he’s a dirty turd on the ice. It looked deliberate to me on the replay I saw. The ESPN guys laughed when they said the players agreement w Mgt only allows 5 games max for these dirty hits. PA is only concerned w the hitter instead of the hitee.

I missed this last week, but the Devils put Evgenii Dadonov on waivers. He's the guy the Sens lost a 1st round pick because of Pierre Dorion. If Dorion was still the GM, be probably would have claimed him.

Ugh, TSN panel talking about ANA with the potential to go to the conference finals. That would be supremely disappointing if they go deep the first year with Quenneville.
The Corey Perry hot potato pass continues... back to TBL.
Made me curious, from Wikipedia: "...becoming the first player in NHL history to reach the Final with five different franchises..." (I *probably* learned that when it happened and then promptly forgot.)
My feed froze something bad for like 45 minutes, looks like I missed the most active part of the deadline thus far. lol
All the Anaheim fans who said they'd cancel their season tickets and what not after Q was hired…dude got an embarrassingly loud ovation at the home opener.
