Logan brown era over. traded to St.Louis for some under-achiever.
Zach Sanford disagrees
LW - 66 points in 170 games past 3 seasons. 2nd round pick by Caps in 13. He also brings a Cup winner into the room that’s always super important 🤣🤣

Yes, but I read some unflattering things about him from the St.Louis guy on The Athletic. Big body but won't use it, even got benched at one point last year. says he's not skilled enough to be top 6, but skill set doesn't fit well in bottom 6. I guess we'll see.

I believe that’s a great signing, good for him and the club.
When was the last time the Sens actually signed someone who wasn't a 3rd or 4th liner? Murray is the only one I can think of.
Never agreed w signing a guy who hadn’t played well for a year and a half and lost his job with a very good club and organization to a long term big money contract - proved me right after 1 year, we’ll see if it stays that way
Tkachuk camp not happy with the progress in dealing w Senators on new contract, of course if any Senator is looking to get really paid that's to be expected. This per Simmer - you gotta believe it's all going to work out because he is the leader of the team, right?
NHL players will be in the Olympics and that's gotta be pretty neat since it's been forever it seems since they all last played against each other. It does mean I will have to pull for Austen Matthews, YUCK!! USA and Canada gotta play against each other.
Cody Ceci w Edmonton 4 at 3.65M, I can't see that ending well. Or heck maybe even starting well, with Pittsburgh he was protected by a really stable franchise all around offence and defense. Edmonton has been a bit of tire fire on D since I believe Pronger left.
It's amusing to me.... a bunch of Edmonton fans insisting that because he had one decent season in Pittsburgh, everything that both Sens and Leafs fans are saying about him means nothing.
