Well that sucked. And now they are off for 5 days.
they can spend those 5 days working on the PP.

so,,,,,,,,,,,, that powerplay. its like they think they are not allowed to move. makes it pretty easy to defend.
Apparently Boucher is the one that coaches the PP. he needs to let someone else try.

Yeah I am. Why did they trade for Brassard and let Peumpel go for nothing? Why is Lazar on this team? This blows, PP is ****e, and they don't take advantage of their chances. They actually play D but now nothing from up front. What is Ryan doing to earn that $$$ he's getting right now?

the wife just had a good question. Does Anderson still get paid while on his leave of absence?
I would assume so - there's got to be something in the CBA that covers situations like this.
given Ottawa's history with cancer (Murray, Reeds, Neilson) I'd have to think they would do what's right and give Anderson what ever support his family needs.
He's not suspended, and that's the only way the team can avoid paying a player.
he's listed as injured (day-to-day) for personal reasons. so yes, would get paid. putting him as injured allows the Sens to add a replacement and stay under the 23 man roster.
if he goes on the IR after missing x # of games, I assume Sens would get cap space relief, not that they need it.

that is the worst GD pp i've ever seen.
Pass it around the outside, pass it around the outside, then have your dman rush to the net for a screen? They need to have guys in the goalies face all the time. Not going to score many goals from the outside if the goalie has a perfect view of the puck.
