All very nice and all but we're just ruining our draft pick. this is straight out of the old leaf handbook of failing.
Really though?
They currently are in the #10 spot and have been there for a while. They were never going to make into the top 8 with Arizona, Buffalo, Calgary, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Columbus, Toronto and Edmonton all well behind in points and tanking hard.
They're also not likely to finish 13th or 14th with Detroit and Carolina well ahead. I doubt that Colorado falls far enough to get out of the 12th spot either.
So at "best" they lose the last two games and finish 9th or at "worst" win a couple more and finish at 11.
So a swing of 5.0 (9th) to 3.0% (11th) to win the lottery. 3.5% at 10.
don't be bringing your facts and logic up in my grill! i want to rant! that's what the internet is for, uninformed ranting!

I believe it is scientifically impossible to have a powerplay with karlsson and Hoffman and go that long without scoring. Yet, there you go.

Ref must have thought it was price in nets. Assumed he would stop it anyways.

So the Norris is Doughty's to "lose", yet he is not good enough for Team Canada?
Makes perfect sense.
What idiot wouldn't have doughty on the team?

I'd think lazar would like that play on the last goal back.
