It's an interesting move by NJD to bring in Shero -- he's a good GM, but working with Lou still there is going to be like Chiarelli working with two ex-Oilers (Lowe, MacT) still in the organization: he's going to have a lot of other "opinions" to deal with.
The only worse situation will be whoever gets the GM job in Toronto -- he'll have Shanny (who's never been a GM) and the rest of the "committee" he'll have to get agreement from on every idea/move.

Murray returning next season as his health allows. Good now someone please hire Shero out of Melnyk's suite.
Contract extension offered to Cameron. How about we let next season where he is already under contract play out before tossing out new deals? No reason to do this now With a potential new GM outside the org in the next year possibly.
... and be in the same situation that Detroit is in this year? (waiting on Bab**** to decide) No thanks. Cameron has the team playing the right way (forechecking and not sitting back) and he's playing the young guys.
Comparing Cameron to Babs is like comparing Hoffman's contract status to Stamkos at the end of next season. The demand is that wide with the same risks.
At least Shero is out.

Cowen also with a sports hernia, and Karlsson's injury was apparently a muscle issue in his back.
Am I the only one hating the fact that we haven't heard "Mark Stone will require surgery on his wrist"? lol

that should concern everyone who is a fan or anyone in management for the Senators. that's not good news at all
I think they're aware:

Murray message to Ryan "get in shape this summer. Work hard." Has to be more confident next season. #Sens

Yet Boro looked a hellava lot more spry than Bobby Ryan.

whatever it was, he better find a way to fix it next year. thats a great big contract he's got kicking in now. he has to produce when it matters.

MacArthur - hip flexor. Karlsson and Zibanejad - both injured; #93 injured knee cap (ouch!)
It's amazing how much positive influence Ryan had on Zibanejad's game mentally, yet Ryan himself fell apart mentally.
Personally, I think his game suffered because he's not in as good a physical shape as he can be. If he was healthy AND in good shape (had his legs, felt strong), his game would have turned around eventually. But you could see him labouring around physically. And then not shooting because he lost his confidence too.

meth had a hip flexor and a bone chip in his elbow, and never missed a beat. pretty freaking amazing.
Are you saying people from San Diego can't have anything to do with hockey? You racist bastard.
This has nothing to do with Hockey. It's just for Pan. And it's damn funny
