In the 1st intermission said that the scan was good and could be back in the tournament, but his agent said that he spoke to him and don't want to risk further injury.
Can't blame them. Knee injury isn't something you want to come back too early from. For his own sake, I'd rather he sit out.

A number of times yesterday TSN said to "Tune in tomorrow morning for Canada vs Germany, puck drop at 8:30"
They always do this, say puck drop time when it's actually pre-game show time.
It really grinds my gears.

Oh wow I saw an article on nhl.com that said Lafreniere is walking today.... I wouldn't put him back in the tourney though it's not worth it.

No, 100% that injury is torn MCL. The amount of pain he was in and the fact he couldn't put any pressure on it. Reminded me of when I tore my MCL. He's done for the tourney and probably for the year in juniors.
If that is the case, would you still draft him #1?
Only on days that end in y’s you would. He’s no.1 all the way

Saw on Twitter that his injury MAY not be as serious as first feared, hopefully that’s the case

He looked really, really good vs. USA. It would depend on what the others do I guess. He already came into the tournament with a semi-injured ankle.

I was thinking that too. No push-back, they are just falling apart.
