My schadenfreude over Pan's upset stomach after having another Big Mac will be as close as I get to McDo tonight.

I had a McMuffin for breakfast today... does that count?

Looks like another game when the Sens have to play the entire game 7 on 5.
Team records under tonight's refs (Pollock and St. Pierre):
@Senators 2-5
@DetroitRedWings 6-3 #Senators#Wings

Just for that I am switching from burgers to Filet'O Fish. Take that Pollock!

Does anyone need a comforting thought? Here y'are:
We can look forward to not seeing the Golden Gawd playing for the opposing team. He's back where he belongs.

Good point by Dean Brown during an "In the Box" segment:
Hoffman's goals-for are good, but he's causing quite a number of chances against lately. Moving him off the Zibby-Ryan line isn't punishment per se, it's about limiting the liability of his presence on the ice by putting him with Legwand and hopefully away from a top D pairing.
Good news about Cole. It's something, at least.
Here's one other little thing we can look forward to when playing Detroit tonight: we won't see the Golden Gawd playing for the other team.

Mrazek says he's starting in goal -- another uphill climb for the Senators as he's been very good of late.
He's been hit and miss. Strong against PIT and TB, weak against NYI and SJ. Hopefully his last start after getting lit up by the Isles has shaken some of his confidence.
And also:
Cole isn't playing tonight but didn't rule out Thursday.

EK65 isn't on the ice for the game day skate.
Hammond is in the starter's net.
We'll have to see how this all works out.

I think you'll see Hoffman back with Zibby-Ryan very quickly, as that line needs his speed and ZSmith isn't exactly quick on his skates. That said, all this line tinkering, after leaving them together for 95% of the time on the streak, smells like the same ol' same ol' from whoever the bench boss is (Paddock, Hartsburg, Clouston, MacLean.....juggle juggle juggle). If you want to make a change on LW, bring up Shane Prince! He did very well before the left coast trip exchange that sent him back and brought up Puempel.

The next most biggest game of the year since yesterday.
Lines at practice yesterday:
Smith-Zibanejad-Ryan
MacArthur-Turris-Stone
Condra-Pageau-Lazar
Hoffman-Legwand-Chiasson
Greening (extra)
Stop it Dave.
And then there's this:
No #RedWings practice today, but per Ken Holland, Erik Cole and Riley Sheahan both possible to play Tuesday vs. Ottawa.
