I love how they call him a Ottawa Senators star now that he's a dick, even though he played for like 19 teams.

On a cap hit of $8 million and Ryan is at $7.25, Kessel's contract isn't bad. Teams with money (hence any contender) could want him but will have to send money back. He can be a 40 goal scorer
The bad contracts are the Phaneuf and Clarkson contracts which handcuff the team. Phaneuf didn't deserve it and Clarkson's free agency led to the unbreakable structure of his contract.

intresting...
So far in Feb. mtl has played 10 games. they lost to arizona, buffalo, edmonton, Ottawa and florida, and they needed ot and a shoot out to beat philly and the laffs, respectively. they have 3 reg wins, against boston, NJ and Detroit. so, out of 10 games, they managed to beat 1 good team in detroit.
they have the best GA in league yet ottawa has scored more goals than mtl. you don't need fancy stats to see that they live and die with Price, and now they are beat up on the blue line. I smell a pretender. can price carry them to the finals? he'll have to cuz they are not very impressive, otherwise.

If he had any brains he would just demand a trade and get the hell out of Toronto.

I feel bad for saying this but... at this point I just feel bad for Phil Kessel. They were like, getting after him on TSN after someone got a shot of him in a Burger King. Leave that man alone with his pain! Also, hockey players burn like 4k calories a game, I don't think a burger once in a while is going to put him overweight. (Leave that for the off-season ha ha)

Any given night, any given game, any given opponent. Arizona's record of late certainly does stretch the limits of incredulity though.

Arizona winners of 3 of their last 4 games on the road--how did the Sens blow them out of the building? and not Montreal or Columbus? We know why the Leafs lost to them

What a shock. I guess the league has had enough of the mtl dive club.

Could it be the same blue and white team that the sports stations go on and on and on about every day because they suddenly realize what Sens fans have known forever. The leafs suck!

This is one websites projection for how the 2015 Draft goes and the teams that are in the slots right now to pick them. If the season ended today which it doesn't.
Ottawa needs a Center in my opinion and it would be fantastic if they can get Strome or Marmer what do u guys think? anyone know anything about Zacha? he's big at least.
It's early I know

Bobrovsky out 4-6 weeks with groin injury. What a year of injuries for Columbus.
Fact of the matter is that removes one of the few teams that #teamtank could have hoped to pass the Sens. Doubtful that the Sens fall below the #10 pick without winning the lottery.
Especially since he started in the league with the Oilers and went back to them after playing on Long Island.
Mike Comrie officially a douche bag.
